Hey Roger

Roger Vivier, a name that rings in women’s ears all around the globe. Shoes that have made a sensational amount of love back to flats. Roger Vivier was a French designer who specialized in shoes. Roger sadly died in 1998 but the brand hadn’t even hit its peak yet. Some would call his shoes the “Faberge of footwear”, and though the most popular shoe of his today is the flat, he was known to have invented the stiletto. Mr. Vivier went outside the limits of fashion and used creative ways to make his shoes more ornate, more desirable. The shoes, are not only credited for style, but also for quality. The fine leather, and signature buckle, make the shoes fit to last a life time. The first buckle flat with a small heel was made in 1965 by Mr. Vivier, and he also created the seductive thigh high boot in 1967. Now, Bruno Frisoni runs the company, but that doesn’t hold back the tradition Roger Vivier carried in his shoes for 60 years.
